A broad, spreading tree or large shrub. The large, oval, deeply veined leaves are a pinkish tan colour when new. Bears steepled clusters of fragrant pink flowers in late autumn. Prefers moist or well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade. ‘Coppertone’ makes a great feature or espalier plant and works well in informal hedges, orchards or mixed borders.
