Christmas

This year, the team at Coblands Garden Centre have picked a selection of their favourite decorations and themes for the home, ready to be treasured for many Christmases to come!

Deck the Trees

Step into a world of golden sparkle and opulence this Christmas!

With a selection of decorations including glitter, luxurious suede, hand cut paper, traditional, Bollywood, metallics and much more!

Glamourous glass

These handmade baubles and decorations will add some old school glamour to your tree, as the clear and pearlescent baubles twinkle gently beneath your tree lights.

Bollywood beauties

Jewelled coloured baubles, hand painted elephants, opulent velvet, and glass ornaments to adorn your trees and home with.

Felted friends

Charming and traditional, our robins and dogs will add colour and interest as they dart and scamper under your tree branches adding some fun to your theme.

Folded finery

These handmade paper decorations add festive charm in a simple and nostalgic style. Lightweight and decorative, the intricate flower shapes unfold revealing a cut pattern effect.

Traditional treats

Featuring the beloved classic red and white theme across various textures and finishes. You will find Santa, reindeers, gonks, and nutcrackers having winter fun! These decorations embrace the memory of a Christmas theme we all know and love.

Festive foliage

Christmas trees form the centrepieces of all festive celebrations, and their decorations are often handed down as part of family traditions. Each tree takes about 12 years to grow to maturity and is hand pruned to retain the traditional shape, making them the perfect addition to your home.

Which tree to choose ( Trees and wreaths will be in centre from the 20th of November)

Pot Grown

Are ideal if you are eco conscious as they can be taken back out into the garden at the end of the festivities where they can, with a little encouragement (feed and water during the summer) increase in size for use the following year.

Fresh Cut Trees

The different varieties have their own winning characteristics, whether a particular colour, a strong scent ,wider spaced branches for bigger decorations. The team can you pick your tree, net it, and carry it to the car for you.

Treat your tree with kindness!

Your Christmas tree will last longer if in a room that is below 18C try to avoid positioning your tree near a radiator or a draft.

As soon as you get your tree home remove the netting and shake it out allowing the branches to relax and start to drop. Saw off 2cm from the bottom of the trunk and place in a bucket of water. The water will allow the tree to rehydrate.

Once in position fill up the reservoir in your stand and top it up daily with cold water, this will help to reduce needle drop.
